Julia Šćepanović is a third-generation musician and Master’s graduate in classical choir and orchestra conducting from Belgrade, Serbia, with award-winning training in piano and solfège. She has led choirs and orchestras in the Netherlands, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, and beyond, with her choirs winning top prizes including at the Alkmaar Choral Competition (summa cum laude).
As founder of an independent music company, she produces concerts, tours, and projects while providing voice casting, coaching, and workshops on Balkan and Slavic music.
She continues to develop her artistic vision with upcoming projects including Britain in De Bilt, a modern Balkan chamber opera, and a 2026 workshop series starting with Venster op het Oosten.
